A personal experience became the product brief.
Months of research and prototyping
Our origin
EUROLABX began with a problem our founder, Prakash Somasundaram, saw at home.
Both of Prakash’s parents live with diabetes. On long-distance international and domestic trips, they needed to carry insulin and other temperature-sensitive biologic medications—often for many hours at a time.
Most of the products he found paired a basic insulated case with a conventional ice pack. They did little to address controlled cooling, the risk of direct freezing, medication fit or the practical realities of airport travel.
That gap became the starting point for months of research, prototyping and refinement. The result was the EUROLABX Travel Cooler Case and ThermoX™ gel formulation: a system designed to release cooling gradually, help maintain travel-appropriate temperatures for insulin, GLP-1 and other biologic medications, work within TSA guidance for medically necessary cooling materials, and pair medication-focused function with a refined, lifestyle-led design.
The founding principle
Medication cooling should be designed around the medicine, the journey and the person carrying it.
Long trips with insulin and biologics exposed the gap between basic cooling and medication-focused protection.
Months of material study, thermal experimentation, prototyping and travel-use refinement followed.
A refined travel case paired with ThermoX™ controlled-cooling technology.
Our approach
A medication cooler should be more than an ice pack inside a case. Every component should work together around the medicine and the journey.
EUROLABX approaches medication travel as a systems-design problem. The case structure, insulation, ThermoX™ formulation, cartridge geometry, medication layout and travel form factor are developed as one connected system.
That medication-first approach guides how we research, model, prototype, validate and improve every product.
Medication-first thermal engineering
Case structure • insulation • ThermoX™ • medication fit • travel form
Storage guidance, direct-freezing risk and pen geometry shape the design from the beginning.
ThermoX™ and multilayer insulation are designed to release cooling gradually instead of relying on loose ice.
Evaluation considers ambient heat, preparation, duration, load, orientation and opening frequency.
Protective performance is integrated into a compact form that feels considered rather than clinical.
Performance varies by product model, ambient conditions, cooling-block preparation, load, opening frequency and use.
